Khandvi is definitely very tasty and loved by all. Traditionally or i can say generally we make Khandvi on gas , which is a time consuming and tiring job. The easy way to make is here…in microwave .. Super Easy Recipe
- 1 cup gram flour
- 3 cups buttermilk
- Salt as per taste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Mustard seeds
- sesame seeds
- curry leaves
- Coriander Chopped
- Coconut Grated
Mix gram flour and buttermilk. blend it with a blender so that there are no lumps formed. Add salt , hing, haldi. Mix well Put it in micro for 4 mins..Now remove from micro and stir well….again put in micro for 4 mins.again take it out and stir well and check.. if not done keep for more 2 mins..
Some micro might take more or less time so take this test- Mix well and apply a little paste on greased Kitchen platform… Let it cool and see if u can roll it……if yes the khandvi s ready to rolled.. At last the consistency of batter will be thick but not much.
Immediately pour the batter on a clean and greased platform and spread it well. Press it downwards to make a thin spread. I used a sunmica piece to spread..
Now cut it lengthwise and roll it.
Now Garnish with Coconut and Coriander..
Always Stir nicely while taking out from microwave so it will be a smooth paste.
You can see when bubbles are reduced in microwave almost its ready to spread still never forget to test.
