MASALA VADA , This spiced Β south indian fritters are very crunchy , tasty and perfect as Tea time snack or can include in your meal..A typical flavour and taste of Mint, Fresh Coconut and other spices will be a treat to your tastebuds. Very easy , very quick (if ingredients r bit ready πŸ™‚ )and super delicious Vada.

This is my long due post.Β  I love this vada with Rasam and Rice πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ . In this recipe have not added Ginger and Chopped Onions, one can add as per taste.

In this recipe, we have to soak Chana Dal / Split Bengal Gram for at least 5-6 hrs. If you are running short of time, soak dal in warm water for 1.5hr or so. Before grinding drain this dal nicely. At time of grinding one don’t need water. Still if you feel it hard to grind, just add 1-2 tsp water and grind. It should be coarse , dont grind like paste. If some whole chana dal is there,it will be awesome in taste. So dont grind fully.
