Paneer Tikka Masala is extremely delicious, saucy and luscious in Curry Recipe .. It’s Super easy to make. Everyone has their own special way but this is exactly how I make it and as per my friends-family, it tastes just like the way they serve it in restaurants.

The Paneer Tikka Masala recipe is quite popular all around the world and needs no introduction. But, if you’ve still never eaten it, then in plain words – You’ve missed out BIG Time!!!

Its a perfect mix of bright orange, saucy gravy that’s simply luscious, slightly sweet and 100% soul-satisfying.

    For Paneer Tikka
  • 1/4cup Thick Curd
  • 1.5tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
  • 1tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 2tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste
  • 2tbsp Roasted Gram Flour
  • 1tbsp Kasuri Methi, crushed
  • 1tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2tsp Dry Mango/AamchurPowder
  • 1/2tsp Black Salt
  • Salt
  • 2tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 7to8pc Red Bell Pepper
  • 7 to 8 pc Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2cup Onion Squares
  • To Grind:

  • 1tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1pc Onion, chopped
  • 4 big sized Tomatoes, chopped
  • 3to4 Byadi Red chillies
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 8to10 Cashew Nuts, broken
  • Salt
  • Other Ingredients :

  • 2tbsp Clarified Butter/Ghee
  • 3tbsp Oil
  • 1tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1tbsp grated Garlic
  • 1tbsp grated Ginger
  • 4Onions, finely chopped
  • 1Tomato, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • 1.5tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2tsp Garam Masala


  1. First of all, lets marinate paneer and veggies. For that, in a bowl take thick curd . (To nake thick curd , just hang curd in a muslin cloth for 30 to 40 minutes. )
  2. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, aamchur powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, kasuri methi, mustard Oil. Also add roasted besan, to give thick texture.
  3. Mix well. Add bell pepper, capsicum, onions and paneer cubes. Cut veggies and paneer in big square piecez.
  4. Gently coat the prepared masala over paneer and veggies.
  5. Cover and keep aside for at least 30 to 40 minutes. If marinating for long time , keep in regfrigerator .
  6. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add cumin seeds, onion, tomatoes, red chilli, cashews Nd salt. Saute for few seconds.
  7. Add little water. Cover and cook till mushy. Later, switch off the gas and allow it to cool.
  8. Then, transfer to mixer. Grind Smooth. Keep aside.
  9. To make paneer Tikka, there are 2 ways. One , directly place marinated paneer and veggies on nonstick tava . Pour a tsp oil and roast till crispy.
  10. Second way, screw them nicely . Cook directly on flame. Alternatively , you can cook in oven too. Keep aside.
  11. Heat Ghee and Oil. Add cumin seeds. Add freshly grated garlic and ginger. Add finely chopped Onions. Saute on medium flame till it gets brown.
  12. Later , add some tomatoes . Mix and cook till mushy.
  13. Add red chilli powder, corriander powder, salt and garam masala.
  14. 14.. Add prepared puree and left over marinate. Add some water too. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add paneer tikka .
  15. Garnish with coriander and kasuri methi .
  16. Serve hot with Roti, Naan, Rice..
