Make sure you choose ripe tomatoes to make this delectable Pizza Sauce. Never make pizza sauce very acidic due to health concerns ..
Instead of fresh Basil Leaves , one can use dried one or chopped Mint Leaves..
One can store this sauce in a air-tight container for 3-4 weeks in refrigerator.

- 9 to 10 medium sized Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup , chopped Onion
- 3 tbsp Garlic , Chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil leaves / chopped
- 2 tbsp pizza seasoning / Mixed Herbs
- 2 tsp Chili Flakes
- 3 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
In a Vessel take enough water that all tomatoes should sink inside. Allow water to boil on high flame. Once water starts boiling add tomatoes , switch off the gas and cover the lid. Allow it to rest for 15-17 mins.
Later, open the lid and take out all tomatoes. Remove the skin and head of it. Roughly chop them…
In a wok, take olive oil. Once heat add chopped Garlic , saute for a minute . Add chopped Onions and Ginger paste Saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now add pizza seasoning ,chilli flakes and Basil leaves.. saute for a minute. Later add chopped tomatoes. Mix well. Add some salt and allow it to cook for 8 to 10 minutes on medium flame. Stir occasionally. Tryt o mash the tomatoes with the back side of spoon.
Add the Tomato Sauce , Red chilli powder and sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 5 minutes..
Once cool completely , transfer the sauce to mixer jar and blend a little. No need to fully crush and make paste…
Our super yummy Pizza Sauce is ready.. Allow it to cool completely store in a airtight container. One can store in refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks..
