img_20161214_202225_hdr_wmPizza Sauce is main Ingredient of an Awesome Delicious Pizza ! Tangy and flavourful, it is responsible for giving out that appetizing aroma when the pizza gets baked. Pizza Sauce can be more herby, or more spicy, or tangy. End result is purely depends on one’s choice. 

Here I am sharing a Quick recipe of Pizza Sauce which is Home made , tasty and very flavourful. It make Pizza more delicious within minimum time. This recipe is a balanced one, which has the right amount of everything.

One can use this same Sauce in Pasta too. Make sure you choose ripe tomatoes to make this delectable Pizza Sauce.

One can store this sauce in a air-tight container for 3-4 weeks in refrigerator.



  • 6-7 medium sized Tomatoes
  • 2-3 large sized Onions
  • 2 tsp Garlic , Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Chilli Paste
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 tsp Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder


In a Vessel take enough water that all tomatoes should sink inside. Allow water to boil on high flame. Once water starts boiling  add tomatoes , switch off the gas and cover the lid. Allow it to rest for 15-17 mins. Later, open the lid and take out all tomatoes. Remove the skin and head of it.  Roughly chop in small pieces. Once cool completely, make a smooth puree. Keep aside.

In a wok, take olive oil.Once heat add chopped Garlic , saute for a minute . Add chopped Onions. Saute for a minuter or two.

Add the prepared tomato pulp, Ginger chilli paste , oregano, chilli flakes, chilli powder mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Add the Tomato Sauce , salt and sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

Allow it to cool completely and store in a airtight container.
