This cake was demanded by my little one on her 4th birthday.. A perfectly Sponge, moist Vanilla cake , filled with rose flavor Buttercream. And finally decorated with Lots of Gems and Kitkat Chocolate..

No child can say NO to this super delicious , yummy cake with lots of chocolate 🙂 🙂

I found this cake the most easiest cake with icing 🙂 🙂

I already Posted Vanilla Sponge cake recipe.. check here. Believe me this recipe  is super easy and result is Super duper Awesome. Soooo soft so Spongy so moist, i am speech less. You try once and you will fall in love with it.

I filled cake with Rose flavor Buttercream, one can choose as per liking.

So lets see the procedure..

METHOD:

Before starting frosting the cake make sure cake is cooled completely. preferably keep in freeze for at least 1.5 hr. cake should be either wrapped or covered.

Cut with a sharp and long knife in 3 layers.. Soak  each layer of cake with sugar syrup..

For Sugar Syrup

  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 8 tsp Water

Heat water and sugar till sugar dissolve fully .. Off the flame and allow it cool completely.  Now soak cake with this cooled syrup. Soaking will ensure the softness and moist of cake.

Now lets prepare Rose Buttercream icing..

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4-5 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Whipping Cream / Milk
  • 1 tbsp Rose Crush ( I used Mapro Brand)

Beat Butter till light and fluffy.. Now slowly add Powdered sugar and keep beating.. Add Whipping cream or Milk and Beat. Keep whipping till soft peak. Add Rose crush and Fold nicely.. If you need more flavor you can add essence too.

How to check buttercream is done or not.. Take a spoonful buttercream,turn it towards down. If it does not fall down , You are done. Else whip for sometime more.

Fill dollop of buttercream in each layer of cake. Apply crumb coat and keep in freeze for 40 mins. Again apply a thin layer of buttercream and stick Kitkat Chocolate around the cake. Make sure you stick it tightly else the chocolate will fall down.

Lastly pour lots of gems on top of cake and freeze till you cut this delicious and easy peasy cake..
