The Kababs, a perfect starter for party or Dinner. This is No Potato No Onion No Garlic Recipe . This NON FRIED cutlets are made from Green Peas, Spinach , Fresh Coriander and Oats.
For me starter is always boosting the mood. I love starters more than meal 😉 😉 And i know many of you are like me only .. 🙂 🙂 Now a days we all are very conscious about what we eat . Healthy food is our priority though i love to eat unhealthy sometimes 🙂 🙂
In this recipe i used Fresh Spinach, Frozen Green Peas and Oats. If you are using fresh Green Peas, boil it first then add with spinach. Frozen ones are half cooked so can be cooked easily with Spinach.
I have used Raw banana, if you are using Potatoes then the quantity u can increase as per likings.
I have not blanched Spinach. Added 2 pinch of Sugar while cooking to maintain the green color.
For crispiness i used crushed Oats, one can use Rawa or Bread Crumbs or Roasted Gram Dal or Roasted Gram Flour or crushed Cornflakes too.
So lets checkout the recipe:
- 2 cup Spinach, chopped
- 1.5 cup Green Peas
- 1 cup Fresh Corinader
- 1/2 Raw Banana , boiled
- 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger
- 2 pc Green Chilies, chopped
- 2/3 cup Powdered Oats (Crushed White plain Oats in mixer till powder)
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Dry Mango Powder (Amchur)
In a Pan , take 1 tsp Oil , Add chopped Spinach, Frozen Green Peas, 2 pinch Sugar and cook. Cook till Spinach is fully cooked but make sure it should not turn black. Allow it to cool.
Now add Fresh Coriander, green chilies, Ginger and grind coarsely. For that Pulse method. Now add this mixture with boiled raw banana, powdered oats and all spices. Mix very well. Take small portion of it and give your favourite shape to cutlet.
On a non stick Tava pour 2 tsp oil and place all cutlets. Cook on medium flame till it turn crispy. Turn the side and cook again with pouring 1 tsp oil. Cook till crispy..
Serve hot with Coriander Chutney or Tomato sauce.
