A very easy to make Sweet. When you are in hurry and very few ingredients are in hands , just try this. Me sure everyone will love this sweet.


  • Almonds roasted and crushed 1/2 cup
  • Semolina (rava) 1 cup
  • Milk 2.5 cups
  • Ghee ¼ cup
  • Saffron strands a few
  • Cardamom Powder ¼ tsp
  • Sugar 1 1/4 cups
  • Almonds slivered 3 tsp

Heat milk in one pan. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add rava to the ghee and saute till slightly browned.

Add saffron to the milk and stir.

Add hot milk and sugar to the rava, mix well and cook. Add roasted crushed almonds and mix and continue to cook till the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan. Add Cardamom Powder.

Put the mixture into a greased aluminium tray and spread evenly. Set aside to cool and set.
Sprinkle slivered almonds on top and press slightly.Chill in the refrigerator or 1-1½ hours.

Cut into squares or diamonds and serve.
