This small , cute and tempting Wheat Flour Cheese Samosa is a perfect treat for your little ones. But take my words , even Big kids π π will go crazy over it. So easy to make and can be ready within 20 mins. It is a great option for a starter for a party or a get together to your house. One can also make in advance, just fry it again before serving .
I got so many demands for dishes specially for kids. Well, I understand , feeding kid is not that easy. Even I am sailing on same boat, my mommy friends π π
I know , I know I am not regular on blog but believe me I miss you all so much . But social responsibility is at first place for me.. After noticing these many requests on kids special recipes , I felt so motivated and pushed my self. So , I will try to post Kids Special recipes for the whole month.
Here , I would love to focus on some points..
- For health benefits I have used only Wheat Flour for dough. One can use half half or All purpose flour alone.
- I have used processed Amul Cheese only for stuffing. One can use mozerella or mixed them or one can add even cottage cheese (Paneer).
- I have kept simple , quick and handy stuffing. One can use as per choice ..
- If serving in a party , one can make these samosa bit spicy too.
So now let’s start with detaield
INGREDIENTS:
For Dough
- 3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 tsp Semolina
- 1/4 tsp Carom Seeds
- Salt
- 5 to 6 tsp Oil
For Stuffing
- Cheese , grated
- some chopped fresh coriander
- Some Oregano
- Some Chilli Flakes
- Some Chaat Masala
- Chopped green chillies (optional)
- Salt ( Be careful as cheese is salty)
METHOD :
First we will knead the dough.. Take wheat flour , semolina , salt and oil. Rub nicely with hand. Add little by little water and then knead semi soft dough. Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes..
By the time let’s make stuffing. Here, I have kept very easy and handy stuffing. One can make as per choice .
In a bowl take grated process cheese. Add chopped coriander , crushed oregano , chilli flakes , chaat masala. I didn’t add green chillies . Mix it nicely. Cheese and Chaat masala both are salty, so I don’t think there is any need to add salt in the mixture.
Now assemble time .. Take a small portion from dough , roll a medium sized disc. Don’t keep it very thick or very thin .. Cut it from center. Take one halve and attach both corners like I showed in pic. Seal it nicely and prepare cone shape.
Now take one spoon of filling and fill the cone , which we prepared from dough. Seal it nicely . If you won’t seal properly , at time of frying , samosa stuffing will come out.
Fry in hot oil on medium flame . Fry on medium flame else the crust will not be crispy . Fry till golden brown in colour.
Serve hot .. Coriander chutney and tomato sauce can be best partners.
Hope you all like it. Do try in this weekend ..
Happy cooking π π
very tempting………

Hey , glad u tried. Yup dough should not be like chapati. It’s should be tight . Otherwise it won’t be crispy . Pls do try again.
