Actually in blog i already posted one Orange Chocochip cupcakes last year, one can say its a modified and healthy version of that 🙂 🙂 . I would love to listen from all of you about this rectified cake.
I am sure you all and kids too will love this cake. I have added Chocochips , one can add some chopped dry fruits too.
Here i have used Whole wheat Flour, Oats and instead of butter i have used Oil (Rice Bran Oil ) , one can use olive oil , canola, sunflower oil, saffola oil also.
So Lets Checkout the detailed Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
- 2/3 cup White Oats ( I used Quacker)
- 1.5 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/4 cup + 2 tsp Rice Bran Oil
- 1 cup + 2 tsp Sugar, Powdered
- 2 cup Freshly squeezed Orange Juice
- 1 tsp Orange Zest
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Chocolate Chips
- Some Gems for garnishing
METHOD:
First Take Oats in mixer jar and make fine powder. Now sieve Wheat flour, oats flour, baking powder, baking soda and keep aside.
In a bowl add Oil, Orange juice and Powdered Sugar, mix well and make sure no lumps. Now gradually add flour mixture to it. Batter should be smooth and not very thick.
To make Orange zest, the oranges which you used for juice, take the peel of that and grate it.
Mix 1 tsp Orange zest and chocolate chips. Mix with spoon gently and pour batter into greased cake mould.
Bake for 35-40 mins on 180C temperature. Toothpick test is the best way to check cake is done or not..
Once done. Allow it cool Completely. Garnish with Gems. For best result serve after 5-6 hours.
Happy Cooking 🙂 🙂
