DRY GARLIC CHUTNEY

This is a very traditional way of making garlic chutney. Though I tried other ways also but always felt machines can not give this perfect rich taste.

One can store this for months in freeze. Whenever want to use just take out required quantity , add few drops of water and your spicy tasty chutney is ready..


Ingredietns:

  • 1 cup Garlic peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Corriander Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp Hing
  • 1 ½ tsp Salt


Proceed :


In a MORTAR – PESTLE take chopped garlic. Crush it very nicely. Crush in such a manner that it becomes like a paste. Now add all spices and mix very well in it . Crush again for 1-2 mins. DON’T ADD A SINGLE DROP OF WATER WHILE CRUSHING OR MIXING.

The colour, taste or texture will be fresh even after months. One can store this chutney in air tight container for months by keeping this in freeze. Whenever want to use just takeout required quanity, add 2-3 tsp water in it mix well and use.
