A super and tasty way eat Rice without no much of work.. Aroma of fresh Biryani will fill your home πŸ™‚ I still can feel that smell ..Serve hot Biryani with Chilled curd or Any Raita.. Thats it. Your meal will be definitely a tasty treat

In days of summer many times happens with me that i dont like cooking for so long in kitchen. and i am sure this happens with most of us. So many times i make such biryani. Its a complete meal it self. Β Its called ONE POT MEAL , Where everything , every taste will be combined in a pot/ cooker / vessel and result will be extra ordinary.

Here i have used vegetables which were available at home, one can use any combination.

So lets checkout recipe:

1 cup Basmati Rice
1.5 cup vegetables (green peas, carrots, french beans, potato)
1 onion cubed
1 tsp Garlic crushed
1/2 tsp Ginger grated
3 tsp Ghee
1 Bayleaf
2 Green Cardamom
1 Cinnamon stick small
2 clove
2 Dry red chilli
2 tsp Biryani Masala
4 tsp chopped Coriander
2 tsp Mint leaves
5 tsp Chopped Capsicums (I took all 3 colors of it)
Lemon juice as needed
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Wash and soak Rice for at least 40 mins. Cut all the vegetable in cubes. In pressure cooker take Ghee. Add cloves, cinnamon, Bay leaf, dry red chilli. Saute for a minute add hing and onions and capsicum. Saute till golden brown. Now add crushed garlic and ginger. Saute for half minute and
Add all vegetables , mint leaves and spices. Saute for more a minute then add soaked rice and water. Once it starts boiling stir occasionally and cook for 2 -3 mins then close the lid . Cook for one whistles on medium flame. Wait till air escapes from cooker .
Dont cook for more whistles else the grain will be mashy and wont give such texture..
Garnish with chopped Coriander… serve hot.
