METHOD ::

First of all , peel all the potatoes.. After peeling keep all the potatoes in water , potatoes won’t turn dark .. Now cut them slice wise . One can also cut small or big square pieces but this style attracts my little one a lot…

In a non stick pan heat oil.. when oil is hot enough add mustard seeds and asafoetida.

Now and sliced potatoes. Add some salt and turmeric powder mix it well. Cover the pan and allow the potatoes to cook completely ,in between time stir gently..

Don’t over mix, potatoes can get mashed.

Once potatoes cooked completely add Sambhar Masala, Red chilli powder and cumin coriander powder. Mix well.

Add some lemon juice. Mix . Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot with Roti or Paratha..

      1. I have made them. I’ve made them to go with our meal tonight. (Originally it was for our barbeque but it’s freezing cold, despite all this talk of a heatwave, but hey. I bought the spices I was out of yesterday. Anyway I tried one. Delicious. Thank you for sharing. I do like finding easy but delicious recipes and I am sure I will enjoy our meal tonight.

        1. Here we go…no matter what we hear re seasons, living by the North Sea it is seldom less than freezing, And we have been places where humid is as difficult in it own way. These things are not important when you bridge gaps in other ways, you know? Like tonight, we loved your recipe…to bits. And our feedback is thank you so very much for the taste of your part of this planet. AND I will be well making this again xxxx
