EGGLESS WHEAT ORANGE TUTTI FRUTTI CAKE (In Pressure Cooker )

Eggless Wheat Orange Tutti Frutti/candied fruits cake is so light,moist and fluffy. Specially made on 3rd Blog Anniversary.. Addition of fresh Orange juice gives an awesome aroma ,beautiful color and fantastic taste to the cake.

I don’t think this cake needs much introduction. Kids or Adults both love this cake.. Enjoy this cake with tea/coffee or pack in kids snack box or just keep munching as it is 😆😆😆😆

This cake was in my list since so long, made many times but never got chance to click and publish. Some or.other commitment appears and I postponed.. phheewww finally today I got chance to share this amazing recipe with you all.

Notes ::

  • One can make simple vanilla cake with this recipe , just remove orange juice and candied fruits. Add 1 tsp Vanilla extract and your super cake is ready..
  • I have use store bought candied fruits, one can easily make at home too.. will share that post in future sometime ..
  • Use fresh orange juice only. Packed or concentrated may not result the same.

So let’s check it out..

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1/2 cup Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 2 TBSP Unsalted Butter
  • 2/3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 tbsp Tutti-frutti/candied fruits

METHOD :

Whisk together butter and Condensed milk..

Add Orange Juice and mix well.

In a another bowl , seive Wheat flour, corn flour, baking soda and Baking powder 2-3 times.

Now add flour mixture to orange condensed milk mixture.

Gently fold into thick batter.. Toss Tutti frutti in 1 tbsp flour. Add this to batter and fold. Pour into greased tin.

Sprinkle with some tutti frutti on top ..
Now place this cake tin in preheated cooker. Close the lid and remove the whistle. Bake for 20-22 mins. Remove when toothpick comes out clean. Allow it to cool for 10 mins..

Friends who wanted to try in oven.. Preheat oven to 175C. Bake for 25 mins, Then lower the temp to 150C and bake for more 5 mins. Remove when toothpick comes out clean. Allow it to cool for 10 mins..Flip on wire rack and let it cool completely …

Slice it up and serve.. Enjoy your weekend.
