One can check other delicious cookies recipes, which I already posted on blog … Wheat coconut cookies , Wheat Cumin Cookies , Choco Vanilla Cookies , Jam Filled Star Cookies, Wheat flour Nan Khatai , Wheat Almond Cookies, TuttiFutti Nut Cookies ….
Here , I will show how to make cookies in pressure cooker. But one can bake easily in microwave too. Preheat the microwave at 180C . Then bake this cookies at 180C for 18 to 20 mins. Keep a eye on cookies after 15 mins.
Notes :
Sugar measurement used in this recipe, yeilds moderate sweet cookies which were perfect for me and my family. One can add 1 tbsp sugar to satisfy that sweet tooth. 😃😃😃😃
Always add milk spoon by spoon.

Now let’s see detailed recipe….

METHOD:
As we are baking in pressure cooker. we will preheat that cooker as we preheat our oven. Place a heavy and flat bottomed Cooker on slowest flame. Place a stand in cooker.
First sieve Wheat flour, sugar, custard powder , baking powder and corn flour.
Then add Butter and vanilla essence. Rub it nicely with fingures.
Add Milk just a spoon or two. knead a soft dough.
Make equal sized balls from kneaded dough. Press them with fork. Arrange cookies in greased cake tin.
Now place this cake tin in cooker. Close the lid. Remove Whistle.
Bake for 15-16 mins or till sides starts turning crispy. Take out and carefully transfer on wire rack to cool completely. Cookies will be soft while hot . It will turn crispy as it cools down. Same way make all cookies . Always bake on slow flame. Always keep checking after 10 mins.
Allow cookies to cool completely. Once cool , store in an air tight container.

Hey Ruchi, can we beat butter and icing sugar so that we don’t have to use Baking powder in custard cookies? Actually I prefer cookies without baking powder. Kindly advice.
