A simple yet delicious dessert which can be served hot or chilled. Simple ingredients, simple recipe, instant and final result is super tasty dessert.

When i saw this recipe on internet i could not believe it can taste sooooo yummy. I thought to try for 2 servings. i tried and i am speechless… Its a divine dessert.

When guest arrive without prior notice or if some sweet craving at odd times, this is perfect dish to make. One can enjoy hot or chilled depends on mood and climate πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

So lets see the detailed recipe…

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 4 tsp Rava
  • 4 cup Milk
  • Sugar, as per taste
  • Cashew nuts, half or roughly chopped
  • Saffron Strands
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • Almonds, roughly chopped or slivers
  • Few Charoli / Chironji

METHOD:

In a pan take ghee and roast cashew nuts , when it start turning golden add rava and chopped almonds and keep roasting. Roast till rava release a tempting aroma and turn golden pink..

Now add Milk, Cardamom – Β nutmeg Powder, saffron strands, sugar .. Cook for 4-5 mins. Don’t boil much else the Kheer will be very thick .Switch off the gas. Garnish with Chiroli / Chironji..

Serve hot , warm or chilled.
