Spicy and yummy poha mixture/chivda is very easy to make. As roasted, its healthy too. Best for evening snack or free time munching.
- 300 gm Thin poha
- 1 small bowl peanuts
- 1 small bowl grated dry coconut
- 1 small bowl Roasted Gram dal (Daliya)
- 6-8 green chilli (More or less according to taste)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1.5 small bowl Oil
- Sugar powder as per taste
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp Hing
In a broad pan roast poha on slow flame till it becomes crunchy but it make sure not dark in colour. Keep in separate. When you roast this Poha, it will be slightly shrink. Keep stirring else it can burn very easily.
In another pan take oil and roast every other ingredients except sugar turmeric and salt. In pics i tried to show the steps
Add Hing and mix well.
When things add off the gas then add turmeric powder and mix with poha. Now add sugar and salt. Mix well .
Tasty poha ready. Once cool completely store in a sir tight container and enjoy.
