Green chilli Pickle


This is my mother’s speciality , i am totally crazy about this pickle 😉 😉

Well this pickle is very very popular and very common in each Gujarati Home.. Very easy to make and of course very very tasty


  • 1 small bowl Green Chilies (20-30 pc)
  • ½ cup Split Mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp Split Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Salt (More or less as per taste, but pickles always needs more which help to store pickle fresh)
  • 1 ½ lemon
  • 2 tsp Oil

Wash and pet dry chilies. Cut vertically and remove seeds.



 Grind both seeds(Mustard and Fenugreek) coarsely. . Now add turmeric powder, salt, and 1 ½ tsp oil to it. 1/2 tsp oil keep aside for last step.



Now mix this masala properly by light hand. Fill it into chilies. Sprinkle ¼ tsp Salt on it. Pour Lemon juice and oil on it and mix well.Store in air tight glass container. One can use this pickle after a day or two..
